Michel Camilo & Tomatito are two world-renowned musicians who hail from different musical backgrounds but have collaborated to create breathtaking music that blends jazz, flamenco, and Latin influences.

Almost 30 years after their first concert together, and after the publication of three superlative albums that have cemented a unique relationship, Michel Camilo & Tomatito return with a new album: Spain Forever Again. To be released on April 26, 2024.

Michel Camilo is a Grammy Award-winning pianist and composer from the Dominican Republic. He is celebrated for his virtuosic piano playing, which fuses elements of jazz, classical music, and Latin rhythms. Camilo rose to prominence in the 1980s and quickly established himself as one of the most dynamic and innovative pianists in the jazz world.

Camilo’s music is characterized by its rhythmic intensity, harmonic sophistication, and passionate improvisation. Tomatito, whose real name is José Fernández Torres, is a renowned flamenco guitarist from Spain. He comes from a family of flamenco artists and began playing guitar at a young age, quickly establishing himself as a prodigious talent in the flamenco world. Tomatito’s playing is characterized by its virtuosity, expressiveness, and deep emotional resonance.

Over the years, Tomatito has collaborated with some of the greatest flamenco artists, including Camarón de la Isla, Paco de Lucía, and Enrique Morente. He has also released numerous solo albums, showcasing his mastery of the flamenco tradition while also exploring new directions and musical influences.
